The Royal International Air Tattoo

Cadets from 613 Squadron joined over 1000 Cadets from all over the country in the RIAT Cadet Detachment to assist in the running of RIAT 2019.

The RAF Air Cadet’s involvement in RIAT is essential to the smooth running of what is the world’s largest military Airshow.

The Cadets were tasked to help around the Airshow on specific duties such as enforcing the Crowdline (where we got amazing views of the show).

Cadets also had lots of free time, where they could see the Airshow, use the Cinema on camp, as well as lots of other activities including a concert!

FS Leach from 613 Squadron was lucky enough to get the chance to meet Tim Peake and ask him questions about his life and how he’s become an Astronaut.

What an event to be part of, the largest RAF Air Cadet camp in the whole organisation.
